Terms & Conditions

The Customer hereby acknowledges that he/she has read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions of Autohaus Middle East (The Company).

1. Authorization for Repairs and Maintenance

The Customer gives their consent to Autohaus to perform the repair, service, and maintenance of the vehicle as deemed necessary. This includes the replacement of any required spare parts and materials to ensure the vehicle functions properly.

2. Removal of Personal Items

The Customer shall remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before repair work begins. Autohaus takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items at any time while the vehicle is within Autohaus premises.

3. Vehicle Repair Report

The Customer accepts the Vehicle Repair Report, which assesses the vehicle’s condition and outlines the necessary repair work.

4. Safety Check Inspection Charge

If the Customer chooses not to proceed with the repair work recommended in the Vehicle Repair Report, or raises objections, a Safety Check Inspection fee of AED 300 will be charged.

5. Authorization for Additional Work

Autohaus will not perform any additional repairs or supply any parts beyond those outlined in the Vehicle Repair Report without the Customer’s prior authorization. The Customer may authorize additional work in writing via email, WhatsApp, or SMS. Any additional work or spare parts authorized will be charged to the Customer as agreed at the time of approval.

6. Ordering of Spare Parts

The Customer grants Autohaus the right to order necessary spare parts and materials on their behalf. Autohaus reserves the right to require full advance payment for any such parts, including courier charges and any currency fluctuation costs between the order date and the payment date.

7. Test Driving and Vehicle Movement

The Customer authorizes Autohaus to move, test, and drive the vehicle as necessary to perform the repair work and ensure proper functionality.

8. Rectification of Non-Conforming Work

If the Customer believes that the repair work does not conform to the agreed service, they must return the vehicle to Autohaus at their own cost and notify Autohaus in writing within 48 hours of collecting the vehicle. Autohaus will only re-execute work included in the original Vehicle Repair Report, provided the issue is not due to a malfunction of another component or spare parts installed. If vehicle recovery is required, recovery charges will apply.

9. Waiver of Claims After 48 Hours

If the Customer fails to return the vehicle and notify Autohaus within 48 hours of collection, the Customer waives any claims and releases Autohaus, its employees, and agents from any liability under these Terms and Conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Autohaus is not responsible for any loss of income, rental car expenses, loss of use of the vehicle, business losses, profits, or any economic or indirect/consequential loss incurred due to repair work.

11. Vehicle Storage Charges

If the Customer does not collect the vehicle within three (3) days of being notified that repairs are complete, Autohaus may charge a daily storage fee of AED 100. If a vehicle remains uncollected for more than 60 days, Autohaus reserves the right to take legal action, including but not limited to selling the vehicle to recover unpaid fees. The Customer waives any claims to the vehicle after this period.

12. Use of Vehicle for Marketing Purposes

The Customer authorizes Autohaus to use images of their vehicle for marketing and social media purposes. However, Autohaus will not display personal details of the registered owner or the vehicle’s number plate. Autohaus guarantees that no harm or liability will arise from such use.

13. Vehicles with Expired Registration or Insurance

If a vehicle is unregistered, has expired registration, or lacks valid insurance, Autohaus is not liable for test-driving the vehicle, and no warranty can be provided on any repairs.

14. Indemnity Clause

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Autohaus Middle East, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the Customer’s failure to maintain the vehicle properly, use of non-recommended parts, third-party modifications, or any unauthorized changes made to the vehicle after service completion.

15. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in Dubai, UAE, under UAE Arbitration Law. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates in English.

17. Parts and Labor Warranties

All Parts and Labor Supplied by Autohaus Middle East Co LLC come with a maximum of 3 Month Warranty, starting from the date of invoice.

16. No Guarantee on Resale Value or Warranty Transferability

Autohaus does not guarantee that any modifications, repairs, or enhancements performed on the vehicle will increase its resale value or be transferable under the vehicle’s manufacturer warranty or third-party service contracts. Performance modifications may void manufacturer warranties.

17. Right to Refuse Service

Autohaus reserves the right to refuse service or terminate ongoing repairs at its sole discretion, particularly in cases where the vehicle is deemed unsafe, extensively modified beyond recommended specifications, or if the Customer refuses to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

18. No Liability for Delays Caused by Government Authorities or Regulations

Autohaus shall not be liable for any delays, additional costs, or legal issues arising from customs regulations, import/export restrictions, or other governmental actions affecting the procurement of spare parts or completion of repair work.

19. Force Majeure Clause

Autohaus is not liable for service delays, disruptions, or inability to fulfill obligations due to natural disasters, regulatory changes, supply chain disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

20. Customer Vehicle Abandonment Clause

If a vehicle remains uncollected for more than 60 days and the Customer has not responded, Autohaus reserves the right to dispose of or sell the vehicle to recover unpaid fees, in accordance with UAE laws.

21. Payment and Deposit Policy

For custom orders, performance upgrades, and special-order parts, a non-refundable deposit is required. Work will not commence until payment terms are agreed upon, and the vehicle will not be released until all outstanding balances are cleared.
